Ensemble Beautiful Rendez-vous
Ensemble Beautiful Rendez-vous plans and performs classical programmes for state ceremonies, corporate VIP events and arts festivals in Korea. We design the instrumentation and repertoire around the occasion, and bring in musicians we have worked with and trust.
We do more than play
What stops most event organisers is not that they cannot find musicians. It is that they do not know what the performance should be. How many players is right, how long they should play, where in the running order it belongs, whether a piano will even sound in that room — these are things you only know after running a number of events.
We make those judgements for you. We listen to what the occasion is for, who will be there and what the space is like, then design the forces, the repertoire and the running time, and gather the musicians that stage needs. That comes from having worked to the order of proceedings at state ceremonies and the circulation of a corporate reception alike.
At the same time we are performers. We give our own concert series, release recordings, and take on projects such as making the first music video of Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time. Because we plan and play as one body, we can tell you precisely what is possible on the day and what is not.
